What is EITP:?

It is an electronic industrial training Program (EITP). It Covers all the aspects of an electronic product manufacturing from start to finish. The flow Chart shows the elements of EITP. Selection of Product → Circuit design → PCB Layout design→ PCB Manufacturing → PCB Assembly → PCB Testing → Fault Finding (if any) → PCB QC → Packaging

No matter you are technical or non-technical, all Can opt this training Module to get good job or to start your own business in electronics. Also the candidate can choose one, two or more than two contents of EITP like only circuit design, PCB Design and son on. For individual training modules, to get full details click on independent modules. Thanks.

Fault Finding/Troubleshooting/Repairing of Electronic Goods - Following Parameters Can Be Followed:
  • Identify the symptoms
  • Gather information
  • Clean the PCB
  • Check power supply
  • Check connections
  • Test the circuit
  • Isolate the problems
  • Replace/repair the faulty components
  • Test the repair
Steps to Test a Faulty Circuit: 1. Initial Safety & Observation
  • Don’t rush to power it up
  • Inspect visually for:
  • - Burnt smell or discoloration
  • - Bulged/leaking capacitors
  • - Cracked ICs, lifted pads, broken connectors
  • Note which part gets hot if already tested before
2. Check for Shorts (Unpowered Board)
  • Use multimeter continuity mode
  • Measure resistance between VCC and GND
  • If very low (near 0Ω), there’s a short — isolate by removing parts step by step
  • Compare resistance across critical nets (e.g., 3.3V → GND) with a known good board if available
3. Power Supply Test
  • Use a bench power supply with current limiting (set slightly above expected current)
  • Power up slowly
  • Watch the current draw (unexpectedly high = short)
  • Measure all power rails (are 5V, 3.3V, 1.8V present?)
4. Thermal Check
  • Touch carefully (or better, use IR camera/thermal camera)
  • Any component heating unusually fast is likely faulty or shorted
